DJs and producers including Liquid, Klubfiller, Andy Whitby, Andy Littlewood and Max Porcelli have used songs written by Kyla, who also provided the vocals. For Max Porcelli, she wrote and featured on Give Us Thunder, released on 12 inch vinyl and digitally by 989 Records.

Kyla’s track Under Your Spell was on The Sound of Hardcore in 2009, which reached number 4 in the compilation chart.

Amongst other writing and session work for other artists, Kyla wrote and featured on Klubfiller’s track On A Cloud, which featured on Clubland Extreme Hardcore and also Summer of Love for Fretman & Darwin, which featured on Hardcore Underground 4.

Annick’s recent release steaming up Europe’s dancefloors

“Give it to me” is the turbo-charged, wickedly erotic and risqué new single from Annick, stage persona of Tammy Pelchat from Ontario, Canada.

Annick explodes onto the scene with her turbo-charged, wickedly erotic, debut single “Give It To Me”. Reminiscent of such old skool, funky, sleezehouse gems as Jamie Principle “Baby Wants To Ride”, Lil Louis “French Kiss”, and Laidback “White Horse” or the tongue-in cheek playfulness of the dance-pop, Eurodance and house of 20 Fingers with 94’s controversial “Short Dick Man.”

“Give It To Me” drives it all home, as it adds some nu-flavour to the already spiced up mix of retro electro delight and oozes with raw sexual passion to become more erotic and controversial than Berlin’s “Sex (I’m A)” or Soft Cell’s “Sex Dwarf”.

HOT AND SEXY

Annick says, “if Give It To Me is a little too hot and sexy for your kitchen, there is even a few mixes that will politely douse the fires. It’s still deliciously erotic and seductive pop dance candy.”

Give It To Me, Annick.
Give It To Me, Annick.

Accompanying Annick singles are scorching hot mixes from some of the biggest names in clubland. She’s working with three-time Grammy Award winners The Klubjumpers (known for their awesome mixes of Madonna, Mariah Carey & Britney Spears), the Majik Boys, most known for their mixes of Whitney Houston & Rhianna, followed by Annick’s native Canada’s React.

ELECTRONIC MAGIC

Then mixes include electro madness from UK’s Bu5hboy, then Danny Lee works his special brand of electronic magic. Newcomers from Hungary, Plasticboys vs. Adriano, along with ISV’s own Nivek Tek Vs. Dirty-Z for a hard blast of euro NRG and last but not least; disco house darlings Brick & Mortar.

This sexy single was unleashed worldwide on 26 May 2014 on Ranco Records.

Lana Del Rey admits she “resented” becoming a full-time musician “every day”

Lana Del Rey has opened up on how she deals with negative feedback.

Speaking to Clash magazine, the US star said that after the release of her 2012 major label debut ‘Born To Die’ there were moments where she wanted to give up on her career.

The ‘West Coast’ star said of receiving criticism after her rise to fame and whether she resented becoming a musician:

“All the time. Every day. I didn’t want to do it, ever. You can make music, just for making music – you don’t have to put it on YouTube. That was definitely a viable option for me. I have a lot of passions and making music was always something I would do for fun.

“But from what happened, it wasn’t worth it most of the time. It’s still not really worth all the bullsh*t. But, meeting people like Dan Auerbach, making a record [‘Ultraviolence’] that is perfect for me, and being able to tell my story through music – that is totally amazing. But that is where it begins and ends. Sometimes I meet people who are really cool, but most of the time it isn’t like that.”

Del Rey meanwhile is due to release her new album ‘Ultraviolence’ on June 16.

The Framed "I Don't Know'
The Framed “I Don’t Know’

The group formed due to a distinct love of all things musical driven by a desire to get out of working 9 to 5. Their music is upbeat rock with some punk simplicity, indie sensibilities and some sometimes naive and thoughtful lyrical content thrown in for a more Vindaloo type kick.

The band have recently recorded their debut EP at Monnow Valley Studios with producer Paul Tipler and mastered it at Metropolis Studios with John Davis. With the release of the EP ” I Don’t Know ” this month, their first festival performance already behind them and strings of gigs, the future should be exciting for the band.

“I Don’t Know” is the latest single from The Framed and will be released on 30 June 2014.
